Application Package Reviews

"Thank you SO much for all of the help. I am so happy I could push my application out on May 28. It was a huge relief. I really appreciate your timely replies and putting a lot of thought into helping me craft my narrative. The unlimited edits were really helpful to reduce the my stress levels. I also especially valued that you would often give me feedback after looking at both my personal statement and AMCAS activities together, in order to help me best use both spaces to highlight different aspects of my application, avoid repetition, and create a cohesive story. I'm really glad I had you guys to rely on through this process!"

You have helped my application so much and I truly appreciate how much time you guys gave me even with help outside of my application with my gap year plans. You guys are amazing and I will forever be grateful for your guidance because I definitely wouldn't have gotten this acceptance without you!"

"Working with you guys was the best decision I could've made. You two have provided more mentorship to me than anyone else in my premed years. I really wish I had discovered you guys sooner. Thanks to your help, I found my way with cancer disparities research (by combining my passions for community health + cancer research from college). And you guys also taught me to think big-- you really inspired me to start thinking of ways I can create or lead cancer screening/disparities work in med school and beyond."

"I got into Saint Louis Medical school! Thank you so much for your help these last six months. I don't know if I could have gotten this far without your advice and training. I remember how difficult it was pushing out the initial application, going through what felt like a gauntlet of drafts, and appreciate your patience and eye for detail. Both of you spotted things I completely missed and shaped my application in a way that was focused. Then with interviews, I can't tell you how nervous I was. The morning jitters driving up to USC or walking over to Saint Louis had me on edge. I fell back to the patterns I developed practicing alone and during the mock interviews to really get me through. Again, thank you so much for your help. I will remember what I learned for residency applications years from now. I saw your blog post about that too! I hope you had a wonderful holidays and will update you with anything from here on."

"Columbia offered me a spot, and I have accepted it!! I had a great call with their dean of admissions on Monday afternoon. She was very open and forthright, and I was able to lay out my entire situation for her. She said Columbia moved to purely need-based financial aid a few years ago, so a scholarship wasn't likely, and I expressed my desire to come to Columbia regardless. She got back to me 20 hours later to say that there was a spot open, and that she had secured a 1/4 tuition dean's scholarship for me. It's clearly not as much as Wash U, but enough to help me and my family financially justify the decision. I said yes on the spot, and have committed to enroll! I called the dean at Wash U and sent her an email to explain my decision. She wanted to see if there was anything she could do to help me stay at Wash U, but was ultimately understanding. So that's it, and I couldn't be happier! This is the best thing I could have hoped for, and I'm really excited. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart for all of your help. You guys helped me get here, and I really appreciate all the advice you gave even after the applications were done."

"I felt generally prepared for the med school application process, and my college had decent premed advising, but the Cracking Med School Admissions team really helped me polish my application and take it to the next level. They taught me how to craft my essays and activities to make them cohesive and demonstrate the best of myself. Their mock interview feedback especially showed me how to feel relaxed but maintain control of any interview situation. I’m so glad that I used them, because they definitely helped me get into my dream school!"

"Duke was able to double my scholarship from 25% tuition to 50% tuition. They moved the money between my grants and scholarships, so my need based aid went down some. But overall the same package just with a lot more of it is secured! I withdrew my other applications last night and plan to attend Duke in the fall! Thank you so much for y'all help with this process. 😁 Both of your advice was invaluable!"

Interview Prep Reviews

"Just wanted to thank you for whipping me into shape last minute again. I got into NYU Grossman!!! NYU's MMI was pretty fast paced and tough but what I think really helped was smiling and making my interviewers laugh when appropriate. Now, I have no idea where to start on making this huge decision between choosing NYU or UCLA."

"I just received an email from the UVA SoM Admissions Office that I was accepted to be a part of the Class of 2026! I am so excited to have received this offer, and I can't express how thankful I am to you for providing your support for my interview. Doing mock interviews with the both of you really helped me build my confidence and direct my focus to the areas of my application and my experiences I needed to focus on to really stand out! To be able to come back to UVA as a medical student is truly an unprecedented opportunity for me, and none of this would have been possible without your help. Once again, truly thank you so much!"

"Thank you so much for revolutionizing the way that I will take an interview. I always knew that there was something missing in my interview preparation. I just never knew exactly what it was until I came across your services. You changed not only the way I take an interview but the way that I plan out my life. You help me create a thesis statement for my career. You helped give me direction, and I will forever be grateful."

"Thank you so much Rachel—I just finished my interview at UCSF and your tips helped a lot! My faculty interviewer’s style was different from those of other interviewers I had before (he rapid-fired questions and seemed to wanted to gauge how I adapted), but I think I responded well and was still able to highlight my career “vision” multiple times, tying in UCSF. And my student interview was VERY interactive like you suggested I try to do. He actually even showed me around campus following our interview, pointing out things related to our conversation."

"The MMI course gave me the tools to develop and organize eloquent and well-thought out answers to a variety of MMI situations and topics. In addition, the course gave me the confidence and problem solving skills that proved vital when I found out that note-taking was not allowed for my MMI session just prior to its commencement."
